Question about Matchbook Checks

Boys,

So I have a few matchbook checks I have to deposit however my bank is saying that these checks are from outside the u.s. which means unless I deposit in person they will not accept them (I moved to a state where wells fargo has no branches)...

Can anyone confirm if these checks are actually from banks outside the usa?

Just look at the check. What is the bank listed on the check? Is it an American bank?

It is misleading.... it says payable through NY but address is outside the us.

I know what you are talking about. I would open up a new bank account over the internet that has walk in branches where you live now, and deposit the check at a teller machine of that new bank. Or deposit it in the overnight dropoff box. I've heard that WF is cracking down and that they are not the best place to be banking right now if you are "one of us" lol.
