Clearly in the new modern era of all star games the main requirement is to play as little defense as possible. It has got so bad that commissioners are treating to cancel these meaningless games.

I can remember play these things under totals like 244 about ten years ago.

Even at a stupid number like 297 I just want no part lay up drill tonight.

I doubt one person on this planet has a big position on the under. Only big bets the books are taking is on buybacks from people that bet early.

nba is capped a lot tighter but theres a reason the o/u has gone up 5 pts since the opener

The amount you bet should be based on the angle you have, not what game it is. Preseason and lesser college games should be BIGGER bets rather than smaller. Lines on the all-star game are bound to be way off vs reality, chance for a 4-5 point middle if you got in early on the over

if you didn't bet the over on the opening line which was around 293 or so all value is lost @ 296 I suggest staying away.

I usually blindly bet over in this and the pro bowl but goddamn...297 is a lot of damn points. Under no circumstances will I take the under though. May still take over if action bug hits later.

I agree completely, these totals used to come out like 260 and were gifts but 296 I mean holy penetrate. Definitely the defenseless 1st half will probably score like 150+ but in the 4th qtr when they start actually giving a slight penetrate and play a little defense scoring another 150 is gonna be tough

I thought the opener was 191.5. Anyways the 2nd half will be higher bc even less defense will be played. Itll be a complete show boat gallery. Can easily see a score like 165-158 or something like that. One team will def score 160+. Hell gsw or houston can almost do that in a regular game

They'll probably hit 300 but who the has the stones to bet large on over 295 points i was expecting 260 something and last year they actually played some d at some points didnt look like the over was going to hit and they exploded at the end.

This year's East isn't as good as last year, but the West might be better than last year. Carmelo is not 100% (East), and other than LeBron, I don't think the Heat players on this squad have much to prove except some typical showboating. The Bulls players are defensive players, not offensive. Keep an eye out on KG, but other than that, Celtics presence won't do much here. No Rondo. Also no Derrick Rose.

I think Chris Paul, Blake Griff & Kevin Durant will keep things entertaining for the West. Maybe Harden too.
