Perhaps we should see what his policies actually are before deciding if we like him or not.

I like his rhetoric since the election. However, he is stocking the cabinet with ex Clintonistas. Most of these people are insiders who have established vested interests and established turf to protect.

Fixing our country is going to require taking on the power brokers and the power mongers in both the Congress and the boardroom. I don't see how you take them on if the Cabinet is chock full of people who are tied to these same power brokers that have to be taken down.

Congress continues to make ridiculous policies and then blame someone else. Just today there is complaining that the homeowners who received adjustments to their mortgages are in default again, within six months of getting the help. What they aren't telling you is that the reason they are in default again is because the "adjustment" was a band aid on a gunshot wound. What these home owners needed was a drastic write down of their principle amount so that their mortgage payment would be 25% of their take home income. Forcing that kind of policy through would take some real backbone and Congress has shown they have no backbone. Will Obama have this kind of backbone?

The mortgage crisis could easily be fixed if the Congress would simply pass a law that said "all sub prime mortgages will be revised so that the principle amount will equate to a payment no more than 25% of the home owners' take home pay. The interest rate will be adjusted to current market rates". This would fix the sub prime problem. BUT, the wall street bigwigs would scream bloody murder.

What is being done so far is just eye wash so that it looks like they are doing something, but nothing has changed. The banks are taking their bail out money and givng out bonuses, starting stock buy back programs, doing everything except loaning money.

I will make my determination if I like Obama or not after he starts implementing real policies that actually help working people.

"Good"? Given all the people they murdered to keep their crimes a secret? You call them good? Given that Bill sold us out to the Chinese by making a trade deal with them that basically says "China sells whatever they want to the USA, USA sells nothing to China" in exchange for suitcases filled with cash, you call them good?
