it's simple math really ... the NBA point spread is basically a 50/50 proposition if you don't have inside info or aren't incredibly lucky ...

chances of losing:
1 in a row: 1/2
2 in a row: 1/4
3 in a row: 1/8
4 in a row: 1/16
5 in a row: 1/32
6 in a row: 1/64
7 in a row: 1/128
8 in a row: 1/256

winning and losing players are pretty much a bell curve that is a little bit of jaded towards the losing side because of the juice involved in point spreads ... most people will either lose a little bit or make a little bit with flat betting ... there will be a few outliers who win an unusually high amount or lose an usually high amount ...

the most sound advice to making money on sportsbetting is limiting the number of games you play to 1 or 2 max per day, maybe even less ... also experiment with varying bet sizes because you won't make much money flatbetting ... pick your spots wisely and don't chase losses earlier in the day with late picks ...

Losing 3-4 games in a row is more than common. I'm not sure about my longest losing streak. I don't think it is that bad but I have recently put together a couple of 1-7 and 1-5 days.

I've seen JJGold bet both sides of a game to stop a losing streak. Good method, it get your head straight again. Too much pressure in huge slump.

You might want to start betting on the tie. Not a great bet in the NBA but I hit it once in the NFL this year.

I once went 0-9 finally took off a week and came back. Wound up down 1k for the season that year.
