It appears trying to address Doc's crew has gotten not one, but two threads moved off to no-man's land.
SBR sent a message claiming "as stated in the forum description, Service Plays is for 'plays from cappers who sell or give picks as a service to bettors' and forums created to merely discuss or track services are moved to the appropriate forum"
To this I would argue there are several threads here completely dedicated to discussing / tracking services. Some have been around for months and have 80 pages! When I started a different thread that was less philosophy and simply pure post-and-track--essentially the same as sky's NCAAB tracker--that was moved too.
Why my thread? In light of the taunts received by the newly created handle about my thread getting moved--discussed in the SB ferringo thread--it is fairly clear by whoever it was they didn't like what was being said. I realize SBR does YouTube postings with people from Doc's like IC, but come on. The reason they gave is completely bogus, as there has been clear precedent for what is allowed here. Service plays fall under a major heading "Sports betting forum and handicapping: discuss picks,odds,predictions and results" and clearly service plays is the place to discuss handicapping services.
Not a single one of my posts contained a violation or was edited. The posts simply said things that were unfavorable to a service strongly touted in service plays. The main point of starting the thread was to protect newbies from shills. Newbies don't generally hang where the threads got dumped.
Is RF's tracking thread allowed to stay up because it shows a profit and is filled with shills? Thankfully there has been some serious discussion in recent pages of that thread from solid veteran posters.
