Can 3 teams out of the AL West.......
Get to the 2013 MLB playoffs?

I could see the LA Angels, winning the division, and the two Wild Card spots going to the Texas Rangers and Oakland A's.

Personally, I think the Angels are a lock to win the division.
Do I really need to break down that team

The top 5 of that order is as good as it gets.

    Trout
Aybar (who will greatly benefit with Trout leading off,and Pujols behind him)
    Pujols
    Hamilton
    Trumbo

    Rotation is sound

    Weaver
    Wilson
    Hanson
    Blanton

Madson closing is more than serviceable.

    Texas Rangers -First Wild Card

    Kinsler (I can see a 20/20 100 run scored .280 season)
    Andrus
    Murphy
    Beltre (beast 30-100 .300 season)
Berkman (if healthy will go 20-75 .280)
    Cruz
AJ (nice pick up behind the dish)
    Moreland
    Martin (he ain't Josh)

    Rotation

    Yarvish
    Harrison
    Holland
    Ogando

all could win 10 + games

Nathan closing is a question mark.
Which Nathan will show up this season? Jekyl, or Hyde?

Oakland A's - Second Wild Card

Their pitching is the key here.
    First the line up

    Crsip
    Lowrie
    Cespedes
    Ross
    Reddick
    Smith
    Jaso
    Sizemore
    Nakajima

    Rotation
Sophmore sensations or flash in the pan rookies?

    Anderson
    Parker
    Milone
    AJ Griffin
    Colon

    Balfour closing

SoCal will be the baseball capital of the nation this season.

Very premature.......obviously..........but, lots of chatter on local sports talk about a potential "freeway series". Would be unreal.

A healthy Joe Nathan is anything but a question mark. You remember he had Tommy John surgery 3 years ago, right?

Oakland doesn't make it. East is too loaded to have only 1 team make it from that division.

The Angels need another starter to make any noise in the playoffs

Weaver is a stud, but Wilson is just average and Hanson and Blanton both suck hard.

            Look at for the Tribe,

Always start strong and fade. Det wins division, Indians could sneak a wild card

Angels rotation sound? Serious? More like injury prone.

Kershaw will have a down year and I think the offensive struggles continue even with all bats. Giants still the best team in the division while the diamondbacks added talent and I think they will have a solid season as well. Dodgers will be playing for a wild card spot as the Giants are winning this division.

88........I'm a lifelong Dodgers fan pal. I live much closer to Anaheim (30 minutes) than I do L.A.(hour minimum....traffic can make it horrendous), but pops raised me a Dodgers fan. I'll die a Dodgers fan.

Lay off Scoscia........down deep........the guy is still very blue.

Oakland is a one hit wonder.
They will be sellers in July.

Detroit, White Sox may dual it out again.
OBTW, have you seen Cleveland-they're phuckin stacked.

Yankees will compete. Red Sox may compete if they don't get the injury bug. Toronto went all in on that pay roll. Tampa Bay may have something to do with it. B-More gets better.

So no, that AL West will not be as relevant as you think.

But then again, they might get a bunch of easy wins with Houston in their division.

They've got a shot if they can arrange for greinke to pitch at home every start.

Rangers will have a decent season, but I dont see the A's competing like last year, they will struggle

                                      Angels will win the division
