Definite potential for a blowout. Harden out and, even if Vinny does decide to rest his top guys more than normal, Clippers bench can come in and get the job done. L.A. or nothing for me.

Insight from a great capper...NOT MY INSIGHT - JUST SHARING

Here's the situation:

The refs assigned to this game are great UNDER bettors. Derek Richardson will keep the Rockets in the game. I like the refs assigned.

Now, over the last seven years or so, I have always bet on Clippers first game back after a long road trip. Usually, seven or more games. I don't recall ever losing, maybe once. It is ridiculous, downright an insult, to lay almost 11 points against a good team like the Rockets.

Rockets are not rested, I'm aware of that. But, these guys are a machine right now, besides, this is the last game before the all star break. Clipps, however, have to contend with a look ahead game to the Lakers (of which I will be looking heavy at the under).

I think this is a great spot for Clipps to be uninterested. Put it this way, if I send you out on a two week road trip for work, how do you feel first day back on the job? Not fresh.

I capped this at about 4 to 7 for clippers. I think Rockets have a chance at the upset, but I wouldn't be surprised if Clippers win by seven. They're definately not covering the 10 though.

And for those of you wondering on Harden's status....How many times has a team covered without it's star? Many. Why? Because the other team is not interested....I don't think Clipps are interested in this game tonight...

The Clippers 'identity' revolves around transition baskets and fast break points - the whole "lob city" nonsense. A team like the Rockets who turn the ball over and shoot early before everyone's in position is the kind of team the Clippers typically do well against. Take Harden out of the equation and this has the potential to be a blowout, but I kind of like the under here a little more with the Rockets on a B2B and the Clippers coming off a long road trip.

I had Houston last night when it appeared to be a revenge game for GSW. I bet dogs that's what I like to do. Knock yourself out if you think throwing money on Rockets ML tonight is a good bet. I say less then 10% chance you see anything back.
