As you may have noticed, the forum was offline for a period. We identified a security incident to Sportsbook Review Forum and took the site offline as a containment step while we investigated.
We wanted to make sure the system and site were restored and secured before bringing things back online and you will see that we are requiring all forum users to reset their password as a precautionary step.
If you have any questions, our moderators are around and happy to help where they can.
As a result, we are no longer waiting to hang lines in our Team or 128 Contest for the totals. Posters seem to just want the spreads early and not have to wait.

Are books getting buried on these??
I guess if the total moves there linesmakers do not pay enough attention and then they get like 10k on some game like St. Peters and Canisius going under and they do not want that.

I think they sometimes put them up more later in the year, but early in the year totals can literally move 20 points on small schools.

I think with the smaller schools , they want to avoid inside information

I think this is a good idea in amateur sports. In particular in college basketball where point shaving could easily occur. You should know your numbers (or what you're willing to take) going into the game anyway.

Books have been getting killed in CBB Totals the last few years. This is their way to limit their exposure.

Totals are posted 30-45 min before game start so that the players and coaches can't bet on the games since they are either warming up or they are in the lockers.
