And go figure, GOLF is going to be back in the Olympics after 100 years. I have a very hard time considering Golf as a sport. It is about as much of a sport as Billiards or Bowling.

the problem is this is the pinnacle of this sport. Basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, soccer have championships that mean more than this medal. This is the highest mountain for this sport and it was removed.

This means more top level olympic caliber wrestlers from nations like Russia will start popping up in MMA the talent level from Russia isn't at it's potential, when all these wrestlers will have nothing to aim for since the olympics are out of the picture. More of these guys who win gold medals are going to transfer to MMA.
