Can't I watch episodes of TV shows somewhere without popups/spyware/malware?

I'm trying to watch a couple of eps of stuff I missed and for some reason I'm not finding stuff easily the way I used to!

Anyone have suggested sites, etc.? Do I have to download stuff, I didn't think I did.
