The press corps will eventually figure out that the sexiest looking teams (Indiana and Michigan) are not necessarily the best (Wisconsin and Michigan St). The teams that take care of the ball and play solid defense are the teams that win tournament games (whether its conference or NCAA). If all of you who cry "fix" would have done any research at all, you would have discovered that the two teams in the game had the least amount of fouls committed in the BIG1O, hence very few FT attempts. The game was evenly played; the better team won the game. Now the best team in the conference is the one with the least fanfare. And that is how the Badgers like it.

I'll never forgot the day he was hired. I was on the road listening to Jim Rome who lambasted Wisconsin by repeatedly saying/shouting "Who the hell is Bo Ryan". Bo Ryan had the highest winning % of any coach in any division in the 1990's at D3 UW-Platteville (best know for being the training camp of the Chicago Bears for around 15 years). I lost a lot of respect for Jim Rome that day because of his show's inability to do such simple research.
