Like they did the first game of the season when they weren't even playing close to top notch??
Dont be fooled because Lebron has been steam rolling GARBAGE teams lately.

Cavs' current win streak include wins over: Pacers, Knicks, Bucks, Warriors, Thunder, Knicks, Hawks.
Before all those easy wins, they lost by 7 to the Pistons, in which the Celtics blew out twice so far.

Celtics go back to back.
The LAL are too weak mentally and play no defense thanks to the old fart that is sitting on the bench
Phil Jackson is a an old clown, the most overrated coach in the history of sports
The LAL have no identity because they play no D
The Celtics do!

It's a long season, Tsoprano. To dub the Celtics as champions this early in the season is a little bit premature. They're a good team and they seem to be clicking on all cylinders, but there are other teams out there that can/will compete with the Celtics come playoff time.

The Kid,
Definitely agree with you, I did the same thing last year and they were champs...Im just going by what I see so far. If it continues on this pace, nor matter how much hollywood "Lakeshow" hype there is...it wont matter when Boston brings home their 18th banner.
Defense wins Championships, and the Celtics have the best in the league in that department.

It's all about when you peak. The Celts are peaking EARLY. They are not going to break Jordan's Bulls' record for most wins in a season -- they are going to lose. Will they win 60+ games? Certainly. But this premature ejaculation all over them is pretty silly. They are hot right now -- like a lot of other teams. The league will even out.
Celtics also have an overrated bench that will begin to "average out" as well. How far can you trust Eddie House? Tony Allen is injured again already. Big Baby is crying during games. Leon Powe is probably going to take time off to tend to his foster family. Where's Sam Cassell? I don't trust their bench.
Celts are definitely the best team in the league right now, but they're not a given to win the championship.
But don't go layin the chalk right now or anything. Wait until March to make a wager on the championship. Then we'll have a clear idea about the identity of some of these teams.
Plus KG is crazy. He could snap at any moment and head to the mental institution.

I already got them in BIG at the beginning of the season.
When Kobe, Chris Paul, Manu, Mcgrady, etc are out.... their teams are in big trouble. I trust the Celtics bench to the end. Look last night...1 shot would of cost lakers ANOTHER game giving up a 15+ lead late in the game and losing. Lucky that shot didn't fall for Butler.
Last year all the SHARPS were on the Celtics, and this year as well...IF it continues like this of course.
Last year Ray Allen barely did anything but harm in the start of the post season, but the Celtics are deep where one of their all stars not coming through doesn't effect the overall goal. Many guys step up, EVEN SCALABRINE comes off the bench and is scrappy on defense, knocking down 3's on offense.

I understand where you're coming from. The Celtics have definitely handled their business convincingly so far. I just think it's a long season and anything can happen between now and June.

Agreed. No other team right now is on the same page with the Celtics. If they keep it together, everybody else is playing for second.
Nice to see a team take the regular season serious.
