Yes. But thanks for the update......this is exactly the kind of game that GS lets down in, and do not forget, POrtland is talented. The line reflects that Aldridge is not playing.

Don't forget, I am not saying that Portland will win this.....I bet a small amount here because at +480 POrtland has value here, based on how I believe GS plays teams in this scenario. This is not solme kind of 'lock' here......

I am telling you right now, and I mean this.....I will never bet on the NCAA again.

I am sure others are watching the Ohio State game....and yes, they are not playing well and Wichita is outplaying them AND outworking them in every aspect of the game.....but frankly, this is a joke.

The referees have decided to decide the winner here.....maybe they will go into their little room at the half and look at one another and say 'oops.....we are being unfair' and maybe things will even out in the 2nd half, BUT those two fouls in the last 30 seconds of the first half were NOT fouls. Not only did it net Wichita an extra 4 points it also creates foul worries in the 2nd half for Ohio State.

I have watched a number of poor reffing jobs throughout this tournament and frankly it is tough to watch. This is not because the NCAA tournament has cost me money (it certainly has), and yes, I may be a little less vehement if I was on the good side of it more often than not, but what it really does is create an air of worry.....I really do worry that the NCAA, whether consciously or unconsciously, is creating an atmosphere where this is acceptable. It used to be that the favourite teams got the 'benefit of the doubt' and that has swung 180 degrees....

I understand that 'Cinderella stories' are great for press, but at the end of the day this is sport.....and I want to see teams treated equally.

Getting + point spreads on a fav at halftime is usually a good bet, but NCAA is......hard to say. If this was NBA, I'd take that bet every time.

Yes, but this is especially tough. I haven't had to go through a day like today prior to this.....at this point I am 1-10.....and down somewhere just over $1000....

I just got out of my car and the NJ Devils were up 2-1 with 30 seconds to go.....and they just lost in OT.....to be honest I am a little stunned. I will be providing a full update later tonight, along with my perspective.....

Hey we all lose a few once and a while. I made up for it by loading up on your Lakers and Kings under 218. That was a good one like you said it would be . I was on Ohio state though and that one hurt.

Yep....I should have pumped that game big....it ended where I had it, around 200 points.

I will post some plays in a little while....I just sweated through this....I made this bet to help cover yesterday, lots of stats to back it up (Ferrer 0-12 against top 5 opponents in finals, Murray 5-1 lifetime on hardcourt in the matchup, and on, and on....Ferrer is great in tournaments where the best are not there or they knock each other out.....I thought this was going to be an easy $450.....)

By far it is the NBA....but I have had my first rough patch (the last ten days) since I started....I have been pressing.

I would tell everyone right now to not tail.....in fact I have considered taking a week off of posting my picks. I know I am pressing.....and because of it I am making some bad choices......still up over $10k in the last 3 months, but it has been demoralizing and in fact, a little bit embarrassing. I understand variance.....as I played poker for the better part of 20 years, but this has been tough on my ego.

I am going to try and become a sports FAN again...one with great intuition....instead of have started to think of this as something I need to do.....and I am finding my love for it waning.

I think today will be the first of many successful days for us again.....

PS, no POD today....I was working on something but there isn't one play that I love enough to have anyone risk anything major. I really do like the Rangers -1.5 and I like the over 8.5 as well, but my concern there is Houston getting their 2-3 runs to make this a safe bet....(this last week this game would end up 8-0 Houston....let's see if we can change the trend!).

The Raptors game is kind of a piss off.....we will obviously hit the OVER, but the Raptors are getting crushed. Bradley Beal was not supposed to be playing according to my info....otherwise I would have not played the game ATS and would have only played the under.

Sometimes it amazes me how bad our info can be here in this day and age. I also blew it not taking San Antonio (was going to ML it) early today....I got greedy about a few percentage points....boo!
