            Yes but what's the point of laying $45 to win $1. On the 2% chance that USC loses, your bankroll will be ruined. It is not worth the risk.

                  Understood, but why tie up so much money for a small reward when the money can be better used elsewhere? That is, unless you have very deep pockets where you don't care about betting a 45/1 favorite that may actually be +EV (I think USC wins 98% of the time, making fair ML 49/1).
