do sports books have the right to.......
Ban a player for winning too much or winning too consistently? If so can anyone recommend one that will not do this in the long run to a consistent winner? I have had no problems as of yet but I have been hearing lately from friends and else where stories about this happening. I really dont want to have to keep switching books if this is the case.

    Thanks for any replies,

    Thrasher

sure they have the right, it is a business.. they have the right to decide who they do and don't wish to do business with, for whatever reasons.

as far as who 'won't' boot you for winning, the old stand-by's are always out there.

and, i think grande, but, hell, i ain't sure anymore...depends on who you believe i guess.

a few others, but, deadwood is on.

Welcome to SBR thrasher. As nutts said, Pinnacle and TheGreek will not boot you if you win.

If you are NOT a resident of the US thrasher - then Betfair (SBR A+) offers a great alternative. I think they even have it written somewhere on their Web site that they "welcome winners". I would too though if I was receiving upwards of 5% commission per winning ticket!

Post script; check out Mansion (SBR B+) too. I absolutely love this book as they have competitive lines with high limits and respond with very fast payouts. I don't think it matters to Mansion btw where you reside and just like Betfair (IMHO) they are a rock solid outfit.

Thanks for the welcome Illusion and your replies guys! I think I will sign up with one of the books you mentioned. FYI I am not a resident of the US so betfair sounds like a good option. Very helpful thx.

Good to hear you may sign up with either Pinnacle or Greek. Both great books. You cant go wrong there.

            Again, welcome to SBR thrasher.

ourbet's mention of mansion reminds me that it seems this book is always mentioned as a great product no matter what the subject may be. What is holding Mansion down at the B+ level?

being new, and the lack of beting options I guess, Mansion is by far the best book to make straight wagers, although I still need lots of others for parlays, props, buying points that they don't offer, and they also are the best book for deposits and withdrawals and have more money than any other book, so they probably should be ranked a lot higher.
