So are you implying the Superbowl last night was fixed by a gambling syndicate in Singapore and that's why you lost 100x units betting on 49ers?

not at all just pointing out that players and coaches sometimes have no say on the games like you think they do.

I thought you left a few zeroes from the Superbowl bet. If someone can move a Superbowl line with a 1k bet books should close book and go home.

wasnt necessarily talking about the super bowl either... was just proving a point of what(who) makes the odds move

Soccer can be so amazing sometimes. Honestly, I don't even like soccer as a sport but it's my favorite sport to bet on. For some reason it's my best too.

Over the past year I've cashed some +1500 lines and a lot of +800 or +900 lines. Sometimes the lines just make no sense and then you watch the shit unfold and it's unreal. I love the penalty kicks in added time or when teams don't even try to score and it ends 0-0.

There was a match in Turkey last year where a huge underdog literally scored 20 seconds into the game and the final was 1-0. There was also a huge italian match fixing scandal. I could go on and on.

Did you watch the Real Madrid and Barcelona matches this past weekend? They were big favorites and neither won. Barcelona is the best team in the world and the books were offering them at even money at halftime where as the draw was only +200. The match ended 1-1.

People think the NBA is bad...try betting soccer. You will truly see amazing happen.

                    Lets get something straight here,

                    a whale is a whale,

                    a sharp is a sharp,

Whale: an abundant supply of blubber=a rich losing gambler with an abundant supply of money=every book's most favorite customer who they will gladly pay to fly them out to Vegas or where ever and Comp them with a penthouse and all the lavishes for the fact that the Whale will pay for it 10 times over before he boards the prepaid plane ride sending him back home .........

Sharp:this one is simple=Any book's worst fukkin nightmare............

These 2 names were made up by the Mafia when they ran Vegas to distinguish among themselves between these 2 types of players............

Square: the rest of the gambling world which brings in the most profit to casinos/books this makes that 90+% losing percentage you always here about........

Vegas never payed to much attention to the average Joe square because they come in droves on their own to voluntarily spend their pay/social security/ welfare checks in hopes of hitting it big to escape the slavery system of the everyday grind they know as life..........

Pinny closed 40 cents higher than Bovada on the ML. Greek was 50 cents higher. These are things you hardly ever see from such a small ML number -- especially given the magnitude of the game, and that the Ravens were a pretty popular public dog. Were they just that off in what they anticipated from this game?
The Ravens were undervalued against the Broncos and Patriots as +9 dogs, but how far do you really think they would move the line against the Niners? There was nothing wrong with the line in terms of market balance.

Ultimately, SF outgained the Ravens by 100 yards, but had a -1 TO margin and lost by 3. So with that in mind, the game worked out pretty much exactly as the books expected.

I pretty much summed this up 2 weeks before the game................

The Ravens will win the Superbowl

                                let me get this straight,

you offer weak ass Balty lines two weeks in a row against the top two favorites to win the Superbowl,

                                get buried in the process,

then you come out with an even weaker Balty line for the Superbowl?

Thanks for the free money Vegas

You are about to be buried again
I was off on the Vegas going to get buried part but I corrected my read on the matter here:

To everyone wagering on the Superbowl

You need to give up the line reading on this game and here is why,

the public is all over the 9ers and these public consensuses are showing the opposite,

think of all the square heads who lost tons of $$$$ on Denver, and New England?

Who are these dumb fukks blaming it on?

                                That's right the Ravens,

they loathe the Ravens because of this and Ray Lewis's preaching is excuse to loathe them even more....

The public majority of squareville are betting on the 9ers out of pure ignorant envy for the Ravens........

Every dumb ass square head in the world who lost $$$$ to the Ravens twice this post season are betting on the 9ers,
                                fact.....................

How many hate threads on Ray Lewis have you seen started here?

Vegas and Media are playing the public like a Fukkin for the biggest Superbowl $$$$ takedown of all time....

I'm going to cash in on it like a Fukkin bandit, are U?
Like I said 1 million times before, books are intentionally misleading with public consensuses sometimes to throw those who pay attention to consensuses off their game........FACT........

So you initially thought Vegas was going to get buried on a soft line, then you did a 180 (shocking) and decided Vegas was actually tricking everyone into thinking there was a hidden agenda with the public consensus, which showed pretty much split action and reflected it accordingly by the small amount of money Vegas made on the game. Then you claim you "called it" a long time ago (of course you did -- you've covered your bases in every way possible). Then you say it's hard to get a point across to me in great detail?

Wow. You get dumber and more circular by the day.

I wish to God the 49ers could have punched it in on 1st and goal from the 7. Just so that Paulypoker would have fukked off. Thanks for that info on the difference between a whale, sharp and a square

You are utterly useless. Congrats you picked the winner of the superbowl from the 2 teams playing. A monkey had just as much chance to pick the correct side.

The bottom line is you bet points not real money, that says it all. You start threads to "show us how it's done" but before you know it your buried and the you abandon the thread. Just like your march madness thread last year where you lost 40 units on Southern Miss, which you then denied and I had to prove.

You are a total fukking waste of oxygen.

mostly all the prop bets went over, books got whacked on the safety at 9-1 and safety last play of the game 50-1
