    Super Bowl and vegas
Oh man vegas took a bath today. Ravens money line, the over, and all the player props. Teasers with both sides hit. I bet they got killed

I know a few props that were getting pounded just based on the way the line moved. Ex flacco was over 235 yds passing. That closed at ovr 250. Flacco over 1.5 tds went from -105 to -120 etc

Teasers did not hit in this game.

I saw the books expected to lose money on this 1 though.

            How do you figure?

            They hit both ways.

SF -4 plus 6 points equals SF +2. So, SF in the teaser lost, unless you get more points.

I am sure people wolud say "Vegas fixed the game" had SF scored on last drive, winning Bal spread and SF ML.

A lot of 7 and 7.5 teasers out there, not to mention the line was -3.5 for quite a while.

I just read in the paper that some Vegas books were taking bets during the 3 qtr outage, and they were taking in a lot of bets on 9ers. Not sure on if it was a spread line or ML.

First reports say Las Vegas had a small win. Action was large, it may be largest ever. Link:

The lights in Las Vegas sports books should stay on for the foreseeable future. The Baltimore Ravens' 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl wasn’t the best result for Las Vegas. It wasn’t the worst, either.

Notice that from 1991 to the present, the amount bet on the Super Bowl has more than doubled. When Scott Norwood missed his field goal wide right to solidify a Super Bowl win for Bills Parcells’ Giants, only $40,080,409 was on the line for the big game.

Everyone kept saying all the money was on the Ravens. Did not appreciate that. Went less on Ravens than I would have. Also, no talk on the total. I think a lot of big hitters were on the over.

Also, if Niners score, 80% chance Flaco gets them into at least fg range. Let's not forget about that reality.
