Not used to having to workout on my own since I always played sports, but I checked out the new "gym" in town and it was a joke. It was more like a physcial therapist's office! No weight bench or anything you'd see in an old gym. A bunch of machines for your lower body (which is fine with me), but seriously how do you have a gym without a mother ****ing weight bench or bars? They seriously didn't have ONE ****ing bar in the whole gym. (Rant over)

#5Yeah, I do like living here but it sucks for some things. Only a handful of places to get something to eat (less than that for anything decent).Comment -

#7Wow sounds like one hell of a gym...we have 2 decent gyms here but they both close down fairly early so I bought some shit and just workout at home.Comment -

#8Well I've been to diogee's hometown, and it would be a 'big city' compared to my little spot on the map. We just got our second traffic light this year
One of the bro-in-law's has a multi-station weight machines that I use a few times were week. Also got one of those exercise balls, not sure what their technical term is, this past summer and started using it for sit-ups and leg lifts in an effort to keep my back from acting up as often. And there are plenty of hills around the place that do the same thing as a stairmaster. Wouldn't trade my small town out in the country for any big city.

Hey, that's when we got our first one as well, summer of '03. The second one they just put in about the time school started was because of a new hoi polloi gated subdivision they built on the west side of the lake. The rich prick city pansies who have moved out this way apparently hate to wait 3.2 seconds to get across the farm to market road (that doubles as our Main Street).Originally posted by TPowellWillie, you lose pal!
