Getting my wisdom teeth pulled

They are ripping the ivory from my face in about an hour.

I will be crying for the next 3 days and high on Vicodin.

If you see me starting threads like "TAKE THE OKC THUNDER MONEYLINE MORTAL LOCK"...or..."AM I THE ONLY ONE LIKING THE LIONS THIS WEEK???".....then you know what's up.

had them pulled, no biggie, i take 4 vicodin with a 30 pack daily, on the sundays after a charger loss im on about 95 beers and 40 shots and 20 vics

if your getting all 4 pulled/cut out , i hope your getting knocked out. i had all of mine cut/pulled out when i was around 23-24. i got put to sleep, didn't feel a thing. just a few stitches in each spot and a wad of gauze.

dont be a girl...its not that big of a deal and no you dont need to get knocked out...i had three impacted and just had a local...just dont suck out of straws for a week and you should be good

I went to the dentist years ago and he told me to make an appointment to get all four of mine taken out as they were coming in and would reek havoc. Fast forward a year and half later, he tells me all four came in fine and would not need to get taken out as long as I kept them clean.

I confronted him about why he had previously diagnosed them as needing come out and he responded something like "well they usually do, insurance covers it, blah blah."

I seriously distrust dentists... Until my teeth hurt...

my wisdom teeth pulling/cutting was actually not too bad... didn't swell up too much, the most pain came somtimes weeks/months later i'd have an aching for a few minutes at a time, but not too horrible,but everyone's is different...good luck...

My experience is similar. Quite a few times through my life, dentists recommended I have mine pulled. But I always figured I would wait until there was at least some hint of a problem. I am now in my mid-40's and still have all 4 within my head.

Dont do it if you dont have to.My jaw seems to stick at times, like I cant open my jaw all the way and it didnt do that until I had my wisdom teeth pulled.

some of the more painfull memories i have is getting 4 impacted wisdom teeth pulled, lots of blood and gauze for the next day, plenty of pain too. Enjoy!
