    Bad Football Web Site Warning
    Exercise extreme caution visiting TheRedZone-DOT-org!

TheRedZone has been a popular site for NFL news and information in the past. However, they are currently dumping more malware on their visitors than "KnockedUpGrannyTransexualMommas.com ". Unless you are feeling bullet proof and/or are running exceptionally strong spyware and virus software, avoid these MF-ers like the plague.

I learned the hard way last night. As soon as I launched their home page, my anti-virus alerts went off like I'd hit a fucking slot machine jackpot (unfortunately, I'd inadvertently let my spyware software subscription lapse). Then, my screen filled with a lovely shade of gray as my PC immediately shit the bed. Six hours and five strong beverages later, I had things back to normal.

This went way beyond the occasional "nasty cookie" or adware crap that we've all seen at one time or another. This was rape.

BTW, if the government is itching to outlaw internet behavior, perhaps addressing these sort of personal invasions might be a better place to start ... IMHO.

What browser I'm using isn't relevent. While I understand the pros and cons of the various browsers, as well as the fact that IE may be more easily exploited than Firefox, the fact remains that more than 80% of all internet users are on some version of IE.

The entire world should not be forced to change the tools they use because some asshole is taking advantage of design flaws. It is the assholes that should be forced to change their marketing practices.

Excellent point. With exception of a few people I know here almost everybody I know uses IE including myself.

Interestingly enough, the SBR audience appears to be a bit more savvy to the benefits of Firefox over IE. While worldwide market share for IE is 84.5% and Firefox is 10.2%, the SBR audience breaks down at 78.2% (IE) and 17.9% (Firefox).

What's the deal? Are SBR visitors just smarter than the rest of the world?

Ive been pumping up Firefox since Ive been here, maybe thats the reason SBR users come up with a higher percentage then the world market.

And to comment about "we shouldnt have to change". Well we shouldnt, but we need to. Until Microsoft puts effort into their product, then we will just have to leave it behind us.

You will have to do a lot to pull me off of using Firefox, and I will continue to tell everyone here to change to it. It being more safer should be the number one reason to change, the other great things are just a bonus.

FIREFOX. Download it. Install it. Use it. Be happy.

I've upgraded my Firefox as well, HH, and it's working fine for me as far as setting my home page. You are going through the TOOLS/OPTIONS drop down, right?

                        Hey there Happy Boy.

Tools/Options.../General - It should be right there, the first thing you see. Type in your homepage or pages, and click ok. This should do it.

Ive have upgraded to 1.5.05 and it works as good as before the upgrade.

I like to use four homepages. So when I open up firefox, 4 tabs open up with those four homepages.
