Just went Nuts at the Casino - Depressed

Hey guys,

Just figured I'd share a degenerate story with you all just because I need to blow off some steam.

My gambling consists of primarily sports betting and Poker either on Bovada or live.

There are a few rare times per year where I will go with a group and play all the degenerate slot machines and blackjack and roulette and all that crap

Heres the story

So it all happened earlier tonight:

Started with $700 cash taken out of the ATM around 5PM (700 is my max)

Played roullete was in for $100 and lost

Split a high stakes slot machine with my buddies three ways $200 each we all suck again,

Played blackjack and whatcha know there goes my last $400

ok yes I know it sucks but it happens right wel im not done there

My buddy owed my $350 from a previous loan i gave him obviously hes winning so he pays me the full 350

I preceed to take the tree fiddy and hit a craps table pretty hard and end up with nothing

Now down over a grand and its not a crazy amount but yea it sucks

So now i decide I'm going to take money out of the ATM but guess what its only 9pm and i took out 700 4 hours earlier so now im screwed

but wait i have this beautiful chase card with a huge limit so sure Ill take $800 on that card cash advance

Buy in to a $50 min BJ table betting 2 hands a deal I go on a run of four straight losses with all my hands thats 8 hands and thats all the money betting 100 a hand two seperate spots

so im down $1850 plus whatever damn interest my card will chard which ill pay off in the morning the full balance but still got charged fees and crap

So its finally over, but its not...

i meet up again with my buddy who has just hit a roulette number for $950 and is now flashing purple chips to which i reply let me get one

I take the loan go to BJ table run it up to 750 obviously got greedy burned it to the ground

that $2,350 now gone after i thought my max loss could be $700

I suck I fortunatley am coming off a big vegas win but still losing is losing and it does suck quite a bit

Just had to blow off some steam here not sure if anyone will actually read this garbage

I've never run good after the 2nd or 3rd trip to the ATM, always buried more....Only times I've made a comeback is borrowing from a friend who was winning

Casinos fukkin blow anyway.....Only really like to go these days to party with a big group of friends at the clubs and bars and maybe gamble a little for fun

When I bust out, then that is the end of the night for me. I leave no possible chance where I can get more cash at the casino.

Several years ago, I was with a group of friends. I busted out, and waited for the others. One of my friends was losing bad. So after he maxed out his atm card, he went to his CC. He had a big line of credit with a huge cash advance limit.

So he took out one grand and then two grand. Lost all of it.

Few of us told him to stop for the night and cut his losses, he couldn't and continued to bury himself until he lost over five grand.

Lol Ahmiss. I can relate OP, it's a mother fker. I don't ever gamble in the pit but have still had nightmare nights in poker when I have gone on ballistic tilt. Lost all the money I have had to my name many many times and some of those times I was a long way from where I lived. Leaving cards is good advice. I don't think you should ever gamble high when you are with friends if you can help it because it ends up being really ego driven and the emotional investor loses. Have fun have a couple cocktails and try to disengage from gaming in those situations is my best advice. Partying and gambling should be done on separate nights and if you have to combine them make sure you do the later first. See if you can't start small and not chase with the money you have left. Value it. Best.

Ive had similar experiences at casino's back when I used to frequent them often. Couldnt leave until my last dollar was gone.I finally quit and now just focus on horses and sports and I actually make money. Best decision I ever made.

sorry to hear man, i've been there, not to that extreme but did withdraw from my atm card when i had reached my "stopping point". now i only go with cash i can lose and in fact consider it lost when i look at my bank account. if i come back with winnings i then make a deposit. if i dont have winnings i dont feel a loss because i had considered it gone.
