Pittsburgh Penguins -1.5 (+160) BookMaker

Penguins are 3-0 with 3 wins on the puck line. Markstrom coming off getting ran after giving up 6 goals. He will most likely start as Tim Thomas is still dealing with a groin injury. Pens have enough offense to cover. Kind of an unappealing card.

Well, If it means anything to ya. IF I do a ML and the Over I'd have to grab Chicago. Simple logic. Chicago coming off a tough road loss to a very good Blues team. Islanders look good. But its not going to be enough tonight to beat Chicago at home. IMO of course.

don't really have opinion on Calgary game, but looking at Phoenix ML....I know it's a back to back game for them, but they're playing Flyers ...and Flyers...well you know what Flyers are

Thinking NJ will come out with their first win of the season and deliver CGY their first Reg. Loss of the year.. Seems about time those oddity's regressed to the mean (due theory), and NJ has looked a lot better than their 0-1-3 record would indicate.

Jake Zatkoff projected to get the start tonight in Pitt.. Made me think that laying off the -210 ML and instead touching on the OVER5.5 would be the play... Rookie Goalie vs. Shitty Goalie + Top Offense in the league.. OVER feels juicy tonight...

Even if Zatkoff comes out hot, a 5-1, 6-0 final isn't Thaaaaat far outta the question right? so...

Zatkoff looked like a rookie who hasn't played in 6 months. That wasn't the only reason Penguins lost however. I watched the entire game and the Penguins were being too cute with the puck many times. There were a few occasions were they had a decent shot on goal and passed it up which then resulted in a mishandled pass or broken up by good Panthers recovery. Lastly, the Panthers played well and made plays when they had to. Panthers goalie did good too.
