Yeah, but what team?
It would be cool if he made an appearance in the final to lead the 49ers to victoryComment -

#7Smith is in an uncomfortable situation. Leading his team to the brink of the Super Bowl last year and playing well this year before he got hurt and replaced. But he's a multi-millionaire and will probably start for a different team next year. And who knows he may get a chance to play in the Super Bowl.Comment -

#8I don't hold out any great hope for him in the future. Here's a guy that got bounced around from offensive coordinator to offensive coordinator. He finally gets a coach that sparks his potential, and he's eventually thrown on the scrap heap. He'll get paid pretty well for somebody else, but his peak was the during that 1 1/2 year time span when he started under Harbaugh.Comment -

#15Jet? I don't think so. He signs with the Cowboys! Book that boys the Cowboys are going to bring in a QB that is going to compete for the starting job to push Romo to get better of push him out.Comment -

#16Maybe Arizona could be his next stop, he could have a shot at revenge twice a year and Arizona doesn't really have a starting quarterback.Comment -

#18That's what I was thinking. He'll have Fitzgerald to throw to. Could be worse.Originally posted by stikymessMaybe Arizona could be his next stop, he could have a shot at revenge twice a year and Arizona doesn't really have a starting quarterback.Comment -

#21He will not be playing for the Cowgirls Zinister trust me. You don't bring in a back-up who has starter market value and command a decent size salary. That is sports economics 101 right there. Plenty of teams will be in line with this years weak draft class, lack of free agents with a proven track record and at least a half dozen teams scrambling for a quality starter!Comment -
