Essien played at right wing back in second half of Getafe game and looked pretty solid there, even put in a couple decent crosses. But playing at home and performing well against a Getafe side who were without 4 key players is very different to playing at home against a fully-strength Barca!

it sure looks like there will be a lot of goals scored, but 3.5 for the full game is too much me for me,

I know that real are missing a few players but do not forget

- this is the first leg, so a draw would be a good result for barca
- barca has been very vulnerable to counter attacks, (one of Real strenghts)
- there is no way real is gonna catch barca in la liga, so this is there only chance to win a domestic title
- there is a chance that barca might take this a bit too easy at the beginning since real had such a bad season so far

I'm not able to watch currently but looking at Bet365 stats, Real haven't had a single shot on target.
