How high will unemployment go?

I think the national rate is currently 6.5%. Here in California, it is 8.2%. I think we will over 10% nationwide in less than 6 months. 11 consecutive months of job losses. Unemployment claims are up 78% in California from last year. 41 states are operating in a deficit. How much longer can these states function with these budget shortfalls?

I'll say 10%. Friends and friends wives jobs seem to be on the chopping block every other week.
