Will Tiger win a major in 2013?

Would love to say the guy demolished the field today but anyone who saw that less than stellar finish knows that the tiger of old wouldve kept the foot on his opponent's throat and won by 9+ strokes.

If he hiccups like that against a world class field then personally can see him being mowed down in a major when it matters.

yeah he looks like a lock to win another major but it wont happen this year imo...

I think he will. Yes that hiccup was very untiger like. But his start yesterday (being 2 under thru 6 or whatever he was) when he couldn't find the middle of the club face to save his life, is what wins golf tournaments. He's back, and I think he will win at least one major.

not to defend coochy's bet, but in the last 6 events that tiger was winning after 36 holes he had only won 2 of them.

just last year, tiger had the 36 hole lead in both the us open and pga championship and didn't finish in the top 10 in either. so his recent history is a far cry from his glory days when leads were rock solid.

His only chance is Augusta.But Phil has played better last 5 years on that course and 2 years ago Rory had it in the bank until that nasty pull hook drive on 11? when he was up 5-6 shots.He won`t do that again.
He will never win 2 in a year again.Fields are much deeper now than in early 2000s and 15-20 guys in their 20s have no fear of Tiger.
18 is safe and sound in Jacks pocket.

As long as he has that "snap hook" in his bag, the one seen this weekend, he will be hard pressed to win at Augusta ( very harsh on shots pulled to the left), The British Open, no matter where it's played because it's all about down the middle there with all the fairway bunkers both left and right, or the PGA at Oak Hill where Tiger finished +12 in 2006 (I think).
IMO his best chance is at Merion in the U.S. Open because it is shorter than typical for a US Open and he can keep the driver in the bag more often. If his short game stays anything like it was last week, too me, that is his best chance at a Major this year.

What would you call the past 3 years then?? Especially by tiger's standards.

Guy has developed a mental weakness in his game now and is not the player of old.

His opponents know this now which creates even more pressure for the guy.
