I don't like Brian Elliot, fkn Mike Smith, ummm who else am I leaving off the Western Conference teams that get out shot in the play offs like 40-18 and still end up winning 2-1 cause they stack the front of the net with the entire team and dive in front of every puck that comes in the passing lane or the goaltenders way. aka Rangers to a tee...(yes i know the Rangers arent in the West but they were tops in the league at blocked shots last year)

Once playoffs start if your goalie is cold you are doomed. The 16 teams that advance have the same chance, momentum and goaltending does not care for how many games you won on the season or if you got the President´s Trophy. In fact I would be scared if my team got the most points in the league, very scared. Look at President´s trophy winners Canucks, Sharks, Capitals and Sabres. Look at 8th seed Kings last year.

Tampa is a crazy team. Awesome offense but horrible goaltending. That has always been their problem.

They might actually have found the answer in goal this year though.

They have as good a shot as any team in the East. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see them there.

Not enough depth on forward. They have one line that can score, if Nash or Gaborik goes down, this team is finished. Unless they add some depth on forward they won't make it far in the playoffs.
