I assume the only reason we have them is so that white people feel relevant in sports. Because other than that the only thing the winter Olympics show me is which country has more rich white kids. $900 a day...must be a fancy place in the tropics with artificial snow. Or I don't get out enough and experience the world.

An adult season pass at Camp Fortune is a bit over $500. Yes, ski as often as you want for the season for the flat rate.

The passes are the cheap part. Travel, Lodging, and Equipment are all much more expensive. Any sport that requires large amounts of space, expensive equipment, or both have been limited to well-off suburban kids, most of which are white.

I don't think you can get a half day in New England for under $50 anymore, really nice ski towns, but conditions on the slope are not western powder nice.
