Overrated? Ha that's a good one compared to the other sh*t point guards that get commercial time in the league.
Rondo is a true point guard, hence leading the league In assists. Not to mention he just logged his 27th career tripple double.

Sad day for Boston. You can argue that Rondo is an overrated player. But there is not a chance this Celtics team is better w/out him on the court. He plays well in the spotlight and at times he does not live up to his potential but he will truly be missed.

Can't see them getting the eighth seed without their offensive coordinator.

I guess it's possible. 9 months is sort of the target when things go well so that would be late October. But he'd almost certainly miss preseason and would need some time to get back in. And they'd probably almost not want him to play the whole season. I'd guess he takes an extra month or two at the start.

Yeah that's true. Pistons maybe, yeah. They do have some players actually. More parity. The worst teams (Bobcats and Wiz) are not quite as bad as past seasons. And only 2 games currently separate the 2 seed from 6 seed. I see it shaking down like this.
