At least Kinky Friedman won't be answering to either the donkeys or the elephants if he wins the Texas gubernatorial race

Since he claims to bet $10,000 a hand at casinos on blackjack, I assume he would be against an online ban.
Barkley is a pretty smart guy overall, but he would self-destruct in politics because he couldn't get away with saying what he thinks on all subjects.

Why not Barkley? Would you rather stay with the sleaze we have now? Barkley says he favors legalizing sportsbetting and regulating it. Sounds like someone I would vote for.

If I lived there I would vote him. Politics could really benefit from a man like Chuck.

I dont think he would be a good governor, I think he is just searching for headlines.
Of course I do agree with the legalizing and regulating sportsbetting, but I dont know. The whole flip flopping parties just struck me in a negative way.
Anyway I respect your opinions in the matter...
I mean, what do I know, Ive been once to Alabama in my whole life.

I don't think he would start with much of a clue, but that hasn't stopped other people who turned out to be decent leaders before.

Minnesota voters found that refreshing in Jesse Ventura even though they didn't always agree with him, why not Alabama voters? Too bad George Wallace isn't around any longer to offer his insight on this candidate for Bama's governor's mansion

i could only imagine the insight that idiot would give on this one.
but on a serious note though... even if there is alot of that type of thinking left down there in bama, i doubt those people would even vote, much less can vote nowadays.
