I can play 2 minutes in goal on a 5 on 3 in my favour and have the best GAA in the league. You have to look at the overall picture. GAA is an important stat that I use, but I also look at who the goalie was matched up against as well.
In his last 9 games he played against 4 backups. Pittsburgh beat 1 top team (Boston) only by 1 goal.
A top notch goalie will steal games for you and he hasn't stole a game for Pittsburgh yet.Comment -
