I'm pissed I missed Hawks futures before the start of the year. I would have to think all value is gone now. Wait 'til they cool down before making the play.

It's still way too early to tell. CHI will run into goaltending issues eventually. OTT is 3-0, WSH and LA are winless. I had CHI or PIT pegged to win the Cup before the season started (I believe teams with similar rosters to last season will do best in a shortened season) but STL and ANA have looked very good so far.

CHI is built for a shortened season. Goal tending can be average for them and they'll still rout their opponents.

theyll get their shit together. as a die hard blues fan i hate the wings and hawks with a passion. but the playoffs wouldnt be the same without em. holmstrom and lidstrom are def missed tho. and datsyuk is not what he used to be when he first came up playing with yzerman and fedorov

hawks look a step quicker than everyone...the other night they had a 3 on 0 breakaway...cant remember the last time ive seen one of those...they look fast as shit

but we were lucky to win last night without the NHL help, i think it was something like 7-1 powerplays....minus the penalty shot

yea the team as a whole just seems to be better conditioned than the other teams I have seen. Think they are going to be a force this year

Still see 14-1, they were never much better than that.

Only a few games, means nothing. Gotta win 4 coin flips in the playoffs. You need really high odds to have any value.

I'll echo what's already been said. They look faster than their opponents but you don't know if the goaltending will hold up. It's still a question. They have been winning some of the battles in the corners for the puck which is an improvement.
