With the NHL season finally in full swing, it's only a matter of time for the bad teams at the bottom of the league to start playing for the first pick in the draft.

This year's consensus number #1 player in the world and projected first overall draft pick in the 2013 NHL Draft........is an American.

Introducing Seth Jones. He is the son of former NBA player Popeye Jones.



Boys, this kid is the real deal. A 6'4" and 210 lbs. defenseman with excellent athleticism and mobility who is solid both offensively and defensively. His mobility and a well above average slapshot make him a danger on the power play as well.

Let the "Suck for Seth" campaign begin!

LOL Don't know how you can say this kid is overrated when it's MacKinnon who has fallen out of favor and dropped out of the #1 ranking. Anyway, I'd be happy if the Flyers got either one.
