    Your Sportsbook Opinion, Please!
    I have been with a book for the past 6 months and when I became a member at SBR I noticed this particular book was rated D- while many of their sister books were rated F. This obviously raised concerns so I felt I needed to do some of my own research. It turns out that the number one problem is people waiting up to 2 months for checks and sometimes longer. Although it does make mention of this in their policy, that is simply too long, IMO. I do quite well in this indistry and like to withdraw large chuncks and as frequent as possible. Another problem is the number of complaints by customers regarding cancellation of wagers on occasion, account lock outs, checks not clearing, etc….

    So, I’m searching for a new book. I would appreciate to hear from members who have been with their book for at least 6 months, withdrawn at least $500 at one time, made several withdraws already and the checks cleared, and not experienced any type of problems that would normally raise a red flag. Basically, I want my money safe and be able to withdraw without a hiccup. The only concerns I ever had in this industry was possibly getting my legs broken by my book here in Manhattan - if I didn't pay, of course, and that's a no-no. Other than that, they were 100% reliable. Lastly, I realize that another book I use on occasion is also rated low on SBR, Sportsbook.com, but there gaming software is awesome in my opinion and would like to find a book with similar software who of course is reputable.

    Thanks in advance for your input.

    BetED- Easy E-Check deposit, when you submit your e-check funds are available right away to play with. Must wait for check to clear before you can withdraw. I withdrew a nice amount, requested payout via direct deposit to my bank account on a Monday and it was in my account the next Monday. Customer service is solid, its a great book for mid range bettors (not good for large time bettors). When I play online I play for between $100-$400 a game

      Spoon,

      In regards to Sportsbook.com, they have stolen from a lot of players. There are currently some managers who want to revisit these cases and we are always looking to help them do that.

      There are a few books in that family with independent mgrs. who have shown they will override Sportsbook.com poor decisions. Confiscating funds for different reasons is not the only negative with a Sportsbook.com-hosted book but if you like the software and lines, BetUSA has shown to be the safest.

          Fellas, I appreciate the quick response and insght. I should mention that I much rather deposit by way of debit card and/or CC. The other methods are too slow and not something I'm interested in doing.

          @Iwinyourmoney: Is E-Check the only depoit option available?

          @JJ: So, what's the deal, partner...which would be the fav out of all those books?

          @Dozer: Yeah, I heard similar horror stories and that is why I play small @ sportsbook.com for now. Has SBR found any truth in your allegations or is this just hearsay?

            BetEd (SBR Rated B-) also offer credit card processing at a high rate of success sir. Although their lines are pretty squarish, which is a good thing if your a dog bettor.

                @bigboydan:

                I signed up with BetED and I can understand the squarish lines you're talking about which is great for a "dog" better.

                Last question, what's with the B- rating? Is there something that brought this rating down from an A?

                Thanks!

                  I was also looking at LegendZ and wondered if anyone has experience with them or The PIG. If so, what's your take on this book? How does it compare to BetED? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

                      Can you elaborate? Why do you feel The PIG has an edge over BetED? What's the difference between the The PIG and LegendZ? It appears that both are run by the same firm, no?

                        All of my Sportsbook checks have cleared, but were only for amounts less than $1,000.
