#14You are talking about a guy who really has been pretty average in tiebreaks ( Raonic 55% in tie breaks last year) versus one of the strongest players in the game in tiebreaks ( Fed actually has a better career rate in tiebreaks than Isner, Federer has a 63% career win rate in tiebreaks). I would think you would definitely see a tiebreak with the way Raonic is serving ( 82% on first serve win rate ) and maybe the h2h might give you some hope on the +2.5 sets wager or the +5.5 game handicap. I thought Tomic or Davydenko would take a set off Fed but the guy has been a beast on serve and has been pretty impressive with those wide out serves and once these rallies start Fed with the the slices, the backhand and the running forehand cross-court on the rallies, should be too much for the 22 year old in a big tourney like this. This isnt Halle or Madrid.
All Raonic needs is a few points in a tiebreak to maybe get the +2.5 sets wager through, but Fed -2.5 sets -105 seems like its worth a punt with the way Fed was serving against Tomic and Paire and watching him play, even if they get into a tie break, Roger and his experience should come through. I thought about the tiebreak prop but Fed has looked fantastic and he cant afford to let somebody with a serve like this to go down a set. This isnt Halle or Madrid and Fed never loses to these kids.
Fed -2.5 sets -105
Interesting quotes from the interview with Raonic after the Kohli match but he beat Kohlschreiber in 3 straight sets so you cant take too much from it. I do like Raonics quote " “I just know how to deal with it. I think I have a higher tolerance within myself and a higher belief within myself stepping up against Roger.”
Q. How much of it today was mental and how much was physical/technical to pull through?
MILOS RAONIC: Yeah, today I think was a hundred percent mental. I had a tough night last night. I just sort of put that aside. Today to come out, perform the way I did, I don't think anybody that's close to me would have expected that, and I'm proud about that.
Q. So you're sick?
MILOS RAONIC: I was yesterday. I was much better. I just struggled with a fever the last two nights. Sort of I managed to sweat it out last night. But that was waking up often, having to change and so forth.
Q. So did you feel weak coming on the court tonight?
MILOS RAONIC: No. I felt like my body was aching. I didn't really feel like I was struggling with energy. I just felt like every type of ache I had was magnified. I felt that I struggled a little bit at the beginning, especially 'cause there was that overcast on the court from the trees. I just struggled seeing and sort of registering quickly at the beginning.
But other than that, I felt like it wasn't an issue at all. I'm just happy how I put it aside and how I playedComment -

#18In my opinion, this being a night match will help Raonic.
I've noticed that the stadium court plays faster at night. This should help Raonic's serving even more. I've got a few units on the OVER 38.5 ...I think two of these sets will go tie break with Raonic winning one of them.

#23My book is showing +705 (just a local) but a quick search at other places shows you may be able to get +700 (Pinny is showing +710 Bet365 is showing +700 right now. (Guess I moved the latest line movements that has dropped the price some.Comment -
