Sportsbooks, Take responsibility for your clerks!
Sportsbooks giving their clerks referral incentives means these guys are opening the door to whomever will send a buck. They encourage the player to bring depositing friends and assure them it's ok that they play from the same place.

A BetonStars Mgr. brought a group to Bet4Aces that is now they called scammers when applying for an "insurance program." The same players were brought to ActionBets by "Adam", an RCS an clerk.

These bonus hunters should know better but that's not the point. Risk management and knowing what's going on in your business is. You can't cry foul after booking action for six months.

I'm confident Actionbets is going to take responsibility after the crash course on risk mgt. Charlie told me that the guys from Bet4Aces were brought in by the book. If you backed the garbage book with insurance money then you don't get to void invited account holders AFTER they go belly-up.

I totally agree, if there is fraud that is one thing, but if players played by the rules and were specifically courted by clerks or reps in the book, I don't see how they shouldn't get payouts. Maybe not bailouts, but certainly should get any insurance offered to them.

I know this is a big issue for actionbets and I hope they resolve it in the right way.

Over a year ago a larger but questionable book had the line managers offering special odds to certain players. Is such a gray area as what if management comes back and says the line manager was committing fraud? It never happen, but books need to be responsible for who they hire and the power they give them.

Right, where does it end? When the owner sends out emails to players stating that everything his staff said or did is null and void?

ActionBets tells me they will take repsonsibility for this. It will be a center stage issue once they have the ability to pay in general.

these problems are compounded by the sportsbook employees who are reasonably trying to increase their personal income via performance incentives and commisions.the players who send good money offshore in hopes of earning a bonus have many obstacles to overcome including being offered something then when its taken away only having the forums to help them.if not for the bonuses in question very few books would be in business and sites like sbr wouldn,t be in such demand.no one complains about pinnacle, and sports insights can be found at places like covers.com.all in all i guess the system we have is the best that can be expected for dealing in an illegal market

Actionbet: Do the right thing... pay

I hope actionbets do the right thing. Either shut the door and dont pay any players or still open and pay all the players. Their investigation has been too long.... 2+months. Just your excuse when your book loses. My name has been clear by Netteller. And I have sent all the docs that you have asked. Now, it's time to pay. Actionbets dont have to pay me now since your book is in finincial trouble. But once the football begins and the money is comming in, you need to take of me. Or else just shut your damn door and run. Do the right thing. Thankyou.
