    gambling nightmares/dreams
ok, now I'm a little worried..

had a nightmare last night involving a gambling debt, cement, clipboards, goggles, tire irons, tony danza, a sewing machine, bo jackson, scratch and sniff stickers and a stapler.....

maybe it is time to go all in and either double up and cash out, or lose it all. Rather it be my bankroll then my sanity.

you are right Amby.....hot streaks and cold streaks do that to me..... I'm much more balanced when I'm breaking even or grinding out small profits..

Its not the $...as I play with chump change anyways.... I just like the challenge of trying to outsmart the numbers/odds. which is prob insane to begin with anyways

As everyone always says there is only a very very small pct of people out there that can get an edge in betting and will be up long term. There is a reason that Vegas is as big and lavish as it is. There are a lot of people out there losing a lot of money.

Archie I think you might need a little break, even if it is for a couple days. A little refresher of sorts.....

totally agree with amb , short break is the best thing you can do ,
couple of weeks ago i've lost a huge bet on new england against san diego and i swore to god i wouldn't bet any game in the next few weeks .
I had lost almost everything i've won previously and i took one month off .
Startet to gamble one or two weeks ago and i had a huge run so far.
Guess it worked out pretty well for me but i highly recommend to stay away from this forum for some weeks and enjoy all the other things that make live worth living.

It is, but hope is not lost. Short term winning can lead to egocentric thinking, players delude themselves into thinking they're beating Vegas or a 'step ahead' of the curve.

In reality what you should be doing is making sure you're getting good numbers, staying within your means, and completely zapping any emotion you have when wagering.

If you want sanity ... do use local bookies.

Pay your wagers before made. nothing wrong there.

Wasn't Tony Danza in porn or something? Or was that just a rumor?

Tony Danza in porno? I am pleased to say, I don't know.

He might have been Scuzzlebutt's leg in an early episode of South Park. No, I think that was Patrick Duffy.

                          It's all so disturbing.
