Turn the 256 tourney into 128 man tourney

or at least cut it down from 256 to something lower, i mean even when you do get 256 people to send in their account info by the time that tourney starts you gotta figure at least 40 no shows.

I am in favor of anything that gets it started while there is still lots of NFL games every week. In other words ASAP.

I prefer the idea of a 'qualifying' week where it is an open competition for one week, and the top 64 or 128 make it into the 'big dance'. Sorta like making the cut in golf. You can even seed it according to your qualifying position.

Exactly. I am pretty sure the 128 tourney with the "vets" will have everyone showing up whereas the 128 rookie tourney will have many no shows. In this way the rookie no shows can be thrown out and reshuffle the cards.
