Not sure if anyone followed this game but I was just at the arena. I left at the start of the first set in disgust!
It was comparable to a WTA match. Absolute pussies.

This game was possibly a fix. It was the wierdest game of tennis i have witnessed. Out of no where simon just stops making big shots and his unforced errors rack up at a very fast rate, putting monfils back in the game. Monfils hurt his hand (popped a blister) during the fourth, thus he couldnt hit any forehands for a while......but simon the dumb shit kept hitting to his forehand! Monfils also takes that set.
The critical moment was when simon gave up when the score was 5-4 in the third. I know it seemed as if he had a quad injury but.....wouldnt you give it your all and end it in 3 rather than drag 5 sets???? worse comes to worse if you give it your all and you lose the third, you retire for your bodies sake??? NOP fkn dip shit gives up the third and fourth and then puts effort in the fifth! wtf!
