i hope we draft jockel in the draft, if we learned anything from this year is that our offense line sucks. if jason peter is healthy we can move him to a different position, as older tackles do as they age. he is an all pro tackle in the making.

i do not want f'ing geno smith. i would still like to see vick starting with a great offensive line in front of him, and a healthy peters and jockel would be a great o-line.

I'm almost curious if Philly brass hired Kelly as a match for Vick. I guess we'll see on Feb 6th if they cut Vick or not.

i don't think they hired him specifically for vick, he is a great innovater. and a very smart guy. he wasn't getting all 5 star guys to play at oregon like alabama was. he was taking 2 or 3 star guys and making them play in his system and making them play as a team better in that up tempo offense.

really excited to see how his college game translated to the nfl, i know a-lot of it won't be the same. but you can expect the no huddle to be part of the game no doubt. he has a-lot of great offensive players and i think thats why he finally picked the eagles. really you don't get this much talent on a team which coach is fired. jackson, mccoy, maclin. you got to like that core on offensive. you also got to like the defense. with fletcher cox, jenkins and cole on the line. fletcher cox looks to be the best dt in the game, i know suh is getting all the love from everyone. but last year cox had 5.5 sacks and 32 tackles.

They will probably try to resign Vick. They won't pay him the bonus though.

Vick said he won't renegotiate. Maybe he's just playing hardball or whatever, but maybe he wants out.

I'm not too sure about the Eagles bringing Vick back. He certainly seemed on his way out last time we saw him. Kelly requires a QB that can read a defense and adjust to it accordingly.

Vick isn't that type of QB historically. The problem with Foles for Kelly is that Kelly likes his QB's to be able to run and Foles isn't that type of QB either.

I'm also not certain that the draft holds the answer for the Eagles either. There's really not a great QB prospect anywhere. No Andrew Luck this year, that's for sure.

Seems like the only way out for them is to either keep one of Foles or Vick or make a trade.
