I'm not sure how it works but you would think that a player only agrees to a buyout if he has a team that will pick him up for the difference. There may be some that give him a chance but who would pay him enough to put a dent in it for the Knicks?

I believe Allan Houston settled without going to another team.

I don't think there is a team for Marbury or I'm sure he'd be out the door. The only team I heard (slightly interested) was The Mavericks.

If we know ANYTHING about professional sports, it's if you can play and you're not a total ass hole (multiple times), they'll find a place for you. When Marbury first got there, they also brought in Van Horn and did well and got into the playoffs. What does A-hole Isiah do? He trades Van Horn away in a package for the great Nazir Muhammad and completely screws up the chemistry. From then on, bad trade after another and Marbury gets blamed for not winning.
