According to SBR census, only 7 bets have been placed that are over $1,000, yet the average wager is $996. We all know there is a lot of $20-$100 bets made. What do you think the largest bet on ATL is thats involved with SBR consensus, 20k, 50k?

Really? even conf championships? I would have assumed the books want the big action early, then they can balance it with vig movesComment -

#4I would think 20k is about as high as you could go. I just found it surprising/unrealistic that the average wager size is basically $1,000.Originally posted by rm18I dont know where you can bet 20k+ on a wednesdayComment -

#8I take it with a grain of salt. I normally maul people who deal with the census, but it seems to be relatively consistent with numbers I've seen at covers, scoresandodds, etc. so maybe it's decent, who knows.Originally posted by boeing powerYou had me interested until you mentioned sbr consensus.

I posted it partially because the numbers I saw are mathematically very unlikely, was expecting the talk to be more about that then anything.
If 7 bets are over $1,000 and 900 are under $1,000, well you can do the math at how large those 7 must be.Comment -
