Varies greatly. Normally I'll RR the picks in them. If I have 10 teams I'll do 10,9,8 teamers, 9 teams 7,8,9 teamers, 8 teams 6,7,8 teamers. And I'll have anywhere from $100-$1000 on them in total. If I just play a single small parlay I'll have $100 or so on it.

Tonight I had 6,7,8 teamers for $5 a pop.

I don't really have units so its just kinda whatever I feel like playing. It leads to some massive swings in my funds offshore, but I usually can run a $250 deposit into a couple thousand like this. Unfortunately I usually lose most of it before I withdraw

They probably are, but there fun. I'm not going to throw thousand on a game, but this way I can win well over a thousand.
You've followed this thread, and seen how many times I've missed by a single game, with the RR I still make $.

If I was doing this for a living, probably wouldn't do it, but personally, I'd be happy if I could gamble the rest of my life, and in the end break even.

True but im sure 90% of the people who bet dont win in the long run lol .. Im winning these last 2 weeks but watch the next week or 2 ill lose again .. Sucks but thats the price u pay to gamble lol

I did syracuse ml (instead of nd +8.5) and left out san diego. I took loy mary -1 and lost that in straight bet. Still came out ahead. I tend to lurk and try to hit 2h bets. I have found they treat me kinder.
Between you, lvillk, and hatter, and a few others i tail, its been heating up. You guys are pretty good. thx for posting

That's good. Wasn't sure if you went for a middle on that one or something, good win. Check out EaglesPhan's thread in the ncaab forum if you like 2nd half plays.

From sd , was at the game n took them 2h pickem for 1u half for fun n half cuz it looked like they would win, was a CRAZY game.... That was a CRAZY layup w 2 secs left in OT

Best way to win Parlays is to reserve spots and ONLY play your best plays (see Below). It can take a few days to hit it but the reward can be great!

Nice job cashdummy. I keep some open and only take a play or two a day in them. Although in the long run, I doubt it matters, cause as discussed earlier, unless you are really good, it is likely a coin flip.

Youngstown and Cleveland game was under 74 for 2nd half. Score was 37-36 2nd half 6 seconds to go. Score wouldnt refresh for 10-15mins.

One thing with playing parlays which has been working for me. Pick 4 or 5 which you feel are sure shot. Add 1 game over/under to it which you dont know and dont care. i.e if o/u is 120 over. Take it to 115 over.

Create 2nd parlay with the same 4 or 5 same picks. But this time add the opposite of the extra game you have put in. I.e. if the o/u was 120 before. Take 125 under.

If the game ends at 12o or 121, you win both parlays.

You have a chance of winning big because of the extra game.

interesting. i might try it and see how it goes. of course i need to pick 4 sure winners, not to blow up both parlays, so that is the tricky part. last night, i thought for sure Florida was a winner over Arkansas.

I thought Florida was a gimme too. Picking 4 sure winners is tough. I would guess if you could pick 4 winners, its more profitable in the long run to just play that 4 teamer by itself. But, heck, going 4-0 and having a middle opportunity to close two parlays is a pretty sweet position to be in.

Lots of small plays for me today. Celtics, cavs, pistons, Hornets, Spurs in the NBA.

Geo Wash, Rhode Island (take the ML too) Northeastern, Minny, Southern Miss (ML also, strongest play here) Providence (ML too) Tulsa, SMU (ML too), and tulane.

Strongest plays that I'll probably double up on are celtics +140, spurs -4.5, Southern Miss -2, and Rhode Island +8.

Sup fellas....My two strong plays are georgia st. (-3.5) against NC-Wilmington...and Air Force (+11.5)...might buy a bucket like I normally do and get (+13.5) against New Mexico...thoughts and comments?...I've been on a hot streak but I still like to see what others think.

Yeah, I hear ya tto but believe me, NC-Wilmington is a god awful team...this CAA matchup is similar to just the other day when George Mason was favored by the same amount over Old Dominion and won handily and easily covered by double digits...I see something similar happening tonight...another game that I might lay some action on is Rice (+16.5) against Utep!...Shit, that is a huge line for two scrub teams!...Rice has been very competitive in most of their games and I think this spread is very generous...Might buy a bucket and get it to (+18.5)!...

Got a ML parlay with Georgia St, So. Miss, and Marquette. You are spot on with So Miss. They have owned UCF in recent years. Additionally, So. Miss has a top defense for 3's and FG's. Almost all big UCF defeats came from schools in the top 35 or so FG defense. That's how Savannah St beat us so bad. All other CUSA teams save SMU (who is like 49 overall but awful with 3 defense) were 100 or worse in FG defense. That's why UCF has done well so far in CUSA play.
