I have the 3's winning about 115 (rough calculation) since this is 5x rollover cash it is worth less in "real money." If you bet 5x115 = 575 x .0455 (house edge at -110) = 26.16 (amount you expect to lose).

    115 - 26.16 = 88.84

Hedge for half or accordingly if you think a certain play is stronger or you want more upside etc.

Thanks Boner, are you Ganch's first cousin? I will just play one hundred on the Prick's pick and call it a night. Again, thanks.

No relation, although I did use his direction for the "present value" of 5x rollover. If you bet $100 on his play you are not going to get any $$ should he lose. You will lose the $100 you bet and get 88.84 (actually losing 11.16). If you like his pick the upside is an $11.16 chance to hit it for $90... However if you don't like his pick I would bet $50 to "guarantee" something... Follow?

I guess I should fade the prick. This is why I hate hedging, a lot of times you don't know which is which. Something so simple can cost you even more money.

No no. If you want to guarantee a payout of at least something (5x rollover cash or real $) tail the prick for something between 0 and 88.84. At around $45 tail you are going to get around $45 either way you slice it. More than that on the tail and you risk lessening your 5x rollover payout but get the upside of getting more "real" $ should the prick win. Less than $45 tail the results are reversed.

I would prolly bet $45 with the prick unless you like his pick (increase your tail anywhere up to 88) or dislike it (reduce the tail anywhere down to 0).

Again these numbers are rough but if you stay in that range and get the same line you should end up with something.
