Getting 5:1 on my money here with just the Lakers game left. I know I can hedge O 210.5 at -102, is there no other way to hedge this for + odds?

Wait for a live line to play the over...1Q should be sluggish

That was the idea the entire day until now, I can't' see Cavs putting up 100 in this game, 218 is a lot of points to score.

Find a book (heirtage) that's lets you sell up points.

Heirtage has over 217.5 at +197

this kinda defeats the purpose...if the game falls behind the total pace then thats all the more reason to let it ride at that point

live lines are not a good hedge option when you want a sure thing...could just as likely screw yourself by waiting

Personally, you should let this ride. You'd cut your payout to 2:1 on total wagered if you try and hedge. Take your chances on the 5-1. I only would hedge if I am still getting at least 5:1 after hedge (unless something weird happens, and I no longer like my original bet)

WHy not hedge a bit and hope for a 7 point middle that you have...LOL seems too EZ to comprehend?

You realise it could go over 210.5 and still remain under 217.5 right?

Heritage would have been the better option. Sadly only posted up at 5 dimes and can't sell the points.

                    2H o/u is 102

205-217.5 is a very cushy middle

Yes, but at this point he is in a very +EV situation if he lets it ride. Assuming the line is set accurately, he is just giving the book back some vig by making that bet in the long run. It is an enticing middle though, and if he wants guaranteed some cash he should take it.

I hedged just to break even if I lost, so 4:1 at the end of the day. I do these occasionally just for the thrill, usually over by 2nd or 3rd game though
