Sure. I NEVER said the Falcons weren't good, but look at the key plays of the game. That big run by Rogers was the longest of his career and there's a second Seahawk just standing there watching as he slips the first tackle. After that it was just a scramble, leading to 45 yards that would have been ~8 if Seattle hadn't let him slip. Bad play from the Seahawks that Rogers took advantage of. Atlanta was also the beneficiary of some horrible decision-making by Seattle in the redzone.

On the other side, Gonzalez has made a couple of HUGE catches today, and they clearly had a great gameplan for Lynch. If Seattle had played a more mistake-free game, we'd have seen something like 13-3 going into the half. It doesn't take away from Atlanta to say the score is partially due to Seattle's stupidity. It's not all about the Falcons.

No disrespect man, but that sounds like mostly excuses to me. Couldn't you say the same about most every NFL game? If the losing team played better and didnt make mistakes they would have been closer or won.

Of course. But that doesn't make it untrue. There's a good reason we can say that...

Besides a small live bet on SEA +7, my only play on the game was a prop on Lynch to score a TD that's looking pretty awful right now. I want my Seahawks to win, but I'd settle for that TD at this point... Game probably ends with the Falcons winning by 10-13 as the Falcons shift playcalling to eat more clock with Turner/Rogers on the ground and Seattle avoids the shutout with a late score.
