An unbelievable start in the capping contest by Goldengeek and Duff. GG has triple the units as the 9th place guy.

A good fair start to the poker. No one has runaway and hid yet. We could easily see 6 new names in the top 10 by tomorrow.

Any idea when the final poker tournament prizes will be announced? This might be my only shot in poker and I was against it

Also, should really consider moving the final poker tourney to after the blackjack tourney. The way its set up now, its a wait and hope to see who wins the $4,000. If poker is the final event, everyone can watch the action unfold live.

It is special as it's the last on the schedule and the prizes are somewhat higher. It's not a good strategy to skip the dailies in favor of that tournament though as you'd have no shot at the top Triathlon poker spot.

The last tourney will pay out 20,000 points. I think it pays the top 50.

Everyone can play so there will likely be 300ish. It will be significant. If you are in first after the regular tourneys you will probably still need a top 50 finish (or have everyone in contention finish outside the top 50)to win the the poker event. Then again if you are sitting in the top 15 you probably could win if you win the tourney. In any case you will be able to help your position significantly in the Grand Finale.(and win a lot of points)

i totally agree with this, makes no sense to me

top 100-150 max.in standings from daily tournaments should be only people playing in the final tourney...that puts the weight deserved for playing everyday and consistantly finishing well...
its really a joke some1 who only played just 1 tourney in 3 months could come in, get lucky, and get a top prize from the guys that did well consistantly in the daily tournaments for the whole 3 months the contest is running...

I liked the format of the last 2 poker series better than the Ryder Cup format
