Dev Harris is okay -- Deron Williams has only played about 3-4 games this season because of injury -- he was gametime decision. Deron owns Dev Harris and has since they entered the league. Harris is good but he won't be the player Chris Paul or Deron will eventually become (MVP candidates).

I think Derrick Rose's future looks a lot like Dev Harris'. 2nd tier PG who can have some big nights. Rose and Harris have the same builds and similar kinds of flaws to their games.

That said, the East doesn't have nearly as many good PGs as the West -- the East is also a lot slower than the West, so Dev Harris/Rose, whose games are based on speed, will be better than average in the East. In the West, if we remember, Dev Harris was mostly ineffective -- partially also due to Avery Johnson not utilizing him properly -- but I think mainly due to the competition.

Just this year Dev Harris has figured out that getting to the FT line is what all the "good" players do -- so he's doing it now. That game against the Pistons a few weeks back was sick. He had around 25 FT attempts.

Maybe Dev Harris is also just BITTER about being SCHOOLED by that 6" tall white British dude in a sweatervest?

Harris is pretty solid. Can't shoot the three all that well but he gets to the line and distributes the ball better than some.

Agreed. Used to be Calderon but he really started getting his props towards the end of last season.

Yeah I have no idea why the Mavs did that trade. Dev Harris is a young gun who can keep up (more or less) with the development/speed of the best out west -- he plays decent defense and is fast. He fits perfectly with the "new mold" NBA. Jason Kidd? Really? I'd have left him to beat his wife in Jersey. We don't need anymore wife beaters down here in Texas, yo.

Should have kept Harris and traded Dirk. Started over with Josh Howard and Harris as your cornerstones. They could have gotten a lottery pick for Dirk.

I agree. D-Will was injured and he's not 100% yet.

As for the Harris being bitter...

Dallas made a horrible trade with the Nets to get Kidd. Cuban is dumb. But imagine if the Lakers went through with trading Bynum for Kidd. Kupchak would need to go into hiding. Now I hear talks that Dallas is interested in Marbury. I wonder how that'll work out.

Hah, he's even killing his OWN team by sitting on the bench and refusing to play.

Harris is a flat out stud. Other than Chris Paul he is playing as well as any point guard in the league right now.

And the projected 30 win Nets are 8-7 and 8-4 when Harris plays.

Cuban has went from the penthouse to the outhouse with the Mavs. Just 3 years ago, they were in the Finals. Now, he's fired Avery Johnson, traded for an old J. Kidd, might get a cancer in Starbury, and faces insider trading allegations. Guy is unraveling.

I have NO IDEA how the Nets are playing so well on the road. The team is made up of unwanted parts and junk but somehow they're playing pretty well.

I don't really like anyone on the team sans 1 player: Sean Williams. I call him GANJAMAN. Kid is a stud -- if he got playing time he'd be an animal. He's built like Amare but has way less of an offensive game. Jersey should trade him to Golden State -- he'd be killer over there.

Chris Paul is still underrated...like it or not. he is. If he got HALF...i said just HALF of the media attention KOBE got, Chris Paul would have CERTAINLY won the MVP race last year... about 3 hornets games besides playoff games were on TV.... about 20 + lakers games got televised. people recognize Paul as being good, but i dont feel like he gets enough respect still,.... maybe I am just crazy though lol....I think D Will of UTAH gets more respect than CP3... but yea Devin Harris is underrated...but mainly because he has been playing so weel lately. In dallas he was merely average...
