wow, i see PIT to make playoffs at -1000. that just got me thinking.. If PIT is -1000 in a 48 game season where anything can happen, including sid getting re injured, then i wonder what Lakers were to make playoffs before season began in an 82 game season? Lakers must've been -6800 to make playoffs.. and look where they are now?

even the Red Sox last yr probably would've been -2000 to make playoffs. I'm sure BALT and WASH last yr in baseball were +2300 to make playoffs. goes to show you anything can happen.

I think the Sens make the playoffs % will hit the over.

This is probably Alfie's swansong & the team will be playing above their heads to do it for him.

I really like what Maclean has brought to the team - he learned much during his time in Detroit (another of my fav teams).

Defense is very lean though & will need another vet(s) to solidify it.

Tending should be good this year.

Considering this season will be a footrace to the playoffs, I like the youth aspect & believe that it will be a benefit for the back to back to back games this shortened season will deliver.
