#10Have watched the Heat steadily all year, and lately it seems to me as if they're in coast & glide mode. While the Blaze have 2 recent impressive wins @ NY & Memphis while being huge underdogs, the Heat have only covered 1 of their past 5 games so beware. What really bothers me with them in those last 5 is the following: As a 9 pt fave vs their cross state rival they barely pulled out a win by 2, didin't cover vs Dal by the hook @ -10.5 won by 10, as a 7 pt fave at Chi they got smoked by 7, and though they then waxed Wash they were as dismal as you'll ever see them last game as a slight fave in Indy where they lost by 10 scoring their season low of 77.

Problem with the Heat is that they're virtually the worst rebounding team in the League. How important is rebounding? Yea, and not that Portland is much better mind you ranked 22 of 30, they are better. Heat only average the league's worst 8.0 off rebs/gm, while the Blaze avg 11.9 which is ranked like 14th. Off rebs are gold and huge momentum swings, and clearly the Blaze have the advantage. You know the Blaze at home as dogs are up off the defending champs on TNT.

Indication is that 82% are on the Heat moving the line from -3 to -4. Safe to say in my opinion ...

... to take the 4. Comment Comment

#19Heat will show up tonight. They've been on a bad stretch lately.

Portland has also won 3 in a row no? Portland isn't that good....they won't win 4 and this won't be a 2 point heat win.... Also look ahead to see Sacramento taking it to Miami in sac so Miami will take it tonigh against portlandComment

Im not a millionaire, but I either play RLM benefactors or pass on the contest altogether. There is no question that large sums of money moving lines from a minority of gamblers has some predictive value to it. IMO, i find the movement more predictive later in the betting week, and less so Mon/Tuesday. In this case, I laid off the game, but bet into the huge "discount" to the pregame line at half. The -2.5 2h blazers play gave me a significant discount to the +4 that "sharps" were taking pre-tip.

Consistent winning is all I want. And you don't need to cap anything, ever. Just tail the money. Money is the ultimate truth. Watch diligently where it is going.
